What's new: Congrats to The Regulators team, the 2011 winners with 488 pounds of catfish. This year's event saw a record 1717 lbs. of catfish come to the scales. Tournament headquarters was moved to Miller's Ferry this year. See event photos at the photo album.

What is this tournament all about? Here are a few facts...
An invitational, catfish only tournament lasting approximately 27 hours.
Competitors are made up of friends in the Wilcox County, Alabama and surrounding areas.
Limited to 10 teams.
All fish must be caught on a hook and it is primarily a trotlining event.
Held annually in the late spring or early summer.
Held to decide the possession of the "Heavyweight Catfishing Belts" and the title of "Kings of Catfish."
The title is awarded to the team that brings in the most pounds of catfish.
A separate trophy is awarded to the team with the largest catfish.
