Spring Turkey Hunt

     Wilcox Academy's successful hunts began in the early 1970s with the Spring Turkey Hunt.  Normally held at the end of March each year, the hunt coincides with the peak of gobbling activity in south Alabama.  

      Our guides have spent most of their lives hunting turkeys on the same private properties that you will enjoy.  This is your opportunity to hunt lands not available to the general public.  

      

INCLUDES:

• Guide and Lands

• Cleaning of your turkey

• Old Southern Fish Fry on Friday night

Does not include lodging.  Lodging is available at two local motels, the Southern Inn and the Days Inn.

SCHEDULE:

Friday night - Meet your guide and talk turkey with the local hunters at the Old Southern Fish Fry.

Saturday morning - Depart the Southern Inn Restaurant at least 30 minutes prior to daybreak in route to hunting location.  

Saturday afternoon - Depart the Southern Inn Restaurant at mid afternoon in route to hunting location.

Sunday morning - Depart the Southern Inn Restaurant at least 30 minutes prior to daybreak in route to hunting location.
